Limited free parking on site but you can park in the village car park which is only a couple of minutes (scenic) walk, difficult, but not impossible wheelchair access but this is solely due to the age and design of the building, nothing the owners can do to improve it. Staff were lovely and accommodating and the food was great.

Really enjoyed our visit last Sunday to The red Lion. I had booked lunch for 1pm. Warmly welcomed by staff. Great menu, I’m vegetarian, no problem finding something on the menu to suit me. They also have separate vegan and gluten free menus, our food arrived quickly. Generously sized portions and the food was delicious. The service was friendly and attentive. The real ale was an added bonus 🍻 we will definitely be returning. Advised to book as it’s obviously a very popular venue. A walk around Culross after lunch is a must.

We had a lovely lunch here, the staff were really helpful and welcoming. All our meals were delicious and great value. The pub has some wonderfully quirky decoration, it is well worth a visit.

Lunchtime, 6 of us. We booked a table by phone as we were travelling a distance to visit Culross. Traditional pub in an original building, which has some quirky features - for example, remember to look at the ceilings! The menu was surprisingly extensive and inexpensive. The food was ample and hot, the service very friendly. I thoroughly recommend this community owned pub!

Absolutely superb. Excellent food and even better uber polite service. We had a lovely walk around the cobbled streets and historic village and this capped off a super day.

Ho scoperto questo posto veramente per caso, da un commento sotto uno dei tanti reel turistici sulla Scozia. Avevamo l'hotel a Falkirk e ci siamo allungatti qui a mangiare cena, e meno male che l'abbiamo fatto. Una delle cene più buone della vacanza ma soprattutto uno dei posti più belli e caratteristici. Di nicchia, piccolino, in questo paesino tranquillo e silenzioso, un sogno ad occhi aperti. È stato veramente stupendo, si viene accolti calorosamente, le pareti sono piene di targhe, immagini e adesivi pieni di riferimenti. Si mangia e si beve bene e si vive una vera esperienza scozzese. Consigliatissimo, il primo posto in cui tornerò a mangiare quando tornerò in Scozia.

Wonderful atmosphere with excellent friendly staff. We stayed for ages, enjoying the 3 course lunchtime menu.
Definitely would recommend and will be back soon.

Excellent experience, food very good and service was friendly and first class from the ladies on shift. Decorative pub inside with that old travellers feel very nice ambience.
If you're in town it's a must visit for a meal and a few alcoholic beverages.
If the sun's out great covered outside drinking and eating area, which is covered
All in all if you're in the area it's a must visit.
